Women's Soccer announces end of season awards

The Muskingum women's soccer coaching staff has announced that senior Raven Francis has been named Most Valuable Player. Junior Moriah Mathies was named the Most Dedicated Returner, while senior Mallorie Sutter was the recipient of the Muskie Award. The freshmen duo of Morgan Price and Stephanie Price were named the Rookies of the Year.

Francis ended her tenure ranked sixth all-time at Muskingum with 32 career points (12 goals/8 assists). This season, she registered seven goals and two assists.

Mathies ended her season with 20 points (7 goals/6 assists) which ranks seventh all-time for a single season.

Sutter, a four-year member of the squad, saw in action in 16 games and recorded one assist.

Morgan Price started 18 contests and had four goals and three assists.

Stephanie Price started 18 games and notched four goals.

The 2013 season was a memorable one for the Muskies as they set the school record for best start in program history, set the mark for longest unbeaten streak at home and notched their most wins since 2001.
