The Muskies traveled to Wilmington in OAC opener

Muskingum fell to Wilmington in a close 27-26 match. The Muskies were led by freshman Aiden Johnson and freshman Lee Zoganas who both won by major decision.

The Basics

  • The Muskies finished with 26 total points.
  • OAC opener

On the Mat

  • Freshman Zeke Poulos won by fall (3:38). Poulos earned six points for the Muskies.
  • Freshman Aiden Johnson wrestled in the 149 pound-weight class. Johnson scored four points and earned a win by a 12-2 major decision.
  • Freshman Lee Zoganas won in a major decision 19-9 in the 157 pound-weight class. Zoganas earned four points for the Muskies,
  • Freshman Justis Schultz in the 125 pound-weight class and freshman Donovan King in the 133 pound-weight class both earned six points for the Muskies when they won by forfeit.
  • The following Muskies also wrestled at the meet in their respective weight class: Senior Hunter Heck (125), Chris Davis (165), and Noah DeHainaut (285).
