Wrestling freshman Gavin Greer has been named to the 2023 National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Scholar All-American team following a breakout year both in the classroom and on the mat. 

Greer, an Interdisciplinary major, finished his freshman season with a 12-6 record in the 149-pound weight class. To be eligible for the NWCA Scholar All-American team a student-athlete must have a season winning percentage of at least 66%, while also carrying a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 over their last two completed semesters of classwork.

Greer is one of 29 OAC wrestlers who were named to the Division III Scholar All-American team, and one of 369 wrestlers named to the exclusive club across the country.
