Muskingum junior Jordan Burkholder and senior Slade Stiles led the Muskies at the NCAA Central Regional Championships on Friday-Saturday.

Inside the Numbers
- Burkholder took sixth in the 125-pound weight class. He advanced to the semifinals of the bracket after securing an 11-3 major decision against Jared Brickley of Olivet. Burkholder then fell against top-seed Nick Mancini of Mount Union in a heartbreaking 2-1 battle. He ended the regional with back-to-back losses against Seth Transue of Ohio Northern (13-4 MD) and Mason Brainard of Heidelberg (11-4 DEC.).
- Stiles finished sixth in the 133-pound bracket. He dropped his opening bout against Dante Ginnetti of Baldwin Wallace via fall at the 56-second mark before bouncing back with three straight wins. Stiles pinned Chase Beecher of Alma at the 1:07 mark, recorded a fall against Iain White of John Carroll at the 1:59 plateau, and pinned Santino Disabato of Otterbein at the 2:20 mark. He lost his final two matches against Josh Kuslock of Waynesburg University (20-2 TF) and Alex Hoover of Case Western (3:33 Fall).
