The Muskingum wrestling team jumped out to an early 13-0 lead at Ohio Northern before the Polar Bears closed the bout with seven straight wins to claim the 32-13 victory.

On the Mat

• Junior Jordan Burkholder (125) opened the match with a 9-0 major decision win against Seth Transue. The dominating performance lifted Burkholder to his 23rd win of the season.
• Senior Slade Stiles (133) notched his ninth win of the campaign with a fall at the 1:27 mark against Brad Taton.
• Sophomore Sammy Southers (141) completed the scoring for the Muskies with a 10-7 decision against Aidan Pierobon. The win was the 17th of the season for Southers and gave the Muskies a 13-0 lead.
• Muskingum dropped two tough decisions in the 149 and 165 pound classes. Junior Toby Warrington (149) slipped 6-3 against Schuyler Caprella and junior Tanner Walker (165) fell 5-4 against Seth Meyer.
