Wrestling competes at Baldwin Wallace Tournament

The Muskingum wrestling team competed at the Baldwin Wallace John Summa Tournament on Saturday. The Muskies placed 14th in the 15-team field.

Muskingum Highlights

  • Sophomore Sammy Southers went 2-2 in the 141-pound class. He notched a major decision (15-4) over John Moll of Wabash and had a tech fall (15-0) over Jacob Supina of Lourdes. 
  • Junior Toby Warrington posted a 2-2 mark in the 149-pound class. He secured a 5-6 major decision over Satchel Holder of Alfred and grabbed a 13-5 major decision over Tommy Gallagher of Case Western.
  • Junior Tanner Walker took fourth place in the 165-pound division. Walker had an 8-6 OT win against Dillon Charlton of Waynesburg and fell in the third-place battle against Jared Timberman of Wabash, 9-2.
