The Muskingum wrestling team fell against Mount Union in its Ohio Athletic Conference opener on Tuesday night in the Rec Center, 49-0.

On the Mat

• Junior Jonathan Muntz lost a hard-fought battle against Seth McCurdy in the 157-pound weight class by a score of 10-4.

• Freshman Toby Warrington was narrowly defeated by Trent Duffy by a score of 3-2 in the 133-pound weight class.

• Freshman Antonio Zapata displayed his endurance in a long match facing Mike Sinclair. The brawl in the 285-pound weight class lasted 7:11 until Sinclair won by fall.
