Madison Carroll enters her first year as head coach of the Muskingum women's lacrosse program.

She arrives in New Concord after serving one season as assistant coach for the Oberlin's women's lacrosse program. Carroll helped lead the Yeowomen to a 14-2 overall record and to the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship game. Furthermore, seven student-athletes were honored under Carroll's tutelage with All-NCAC honors.

Prior to Oberlin, Carroll was a member of the Virginia Wesleyan women’s lacrosse team and served as a team captain her senior year. She holds the single-season record for saves and stands second all-time in career saves. Carroll received the Coach’s Award as a senior and also served as a camp counselor for the Virginia Wesleyan Marlin’s lacrosse camp and as an assistant for the Southern Maryland JETS lacrosse team of Leonardtown, Maryland.

Carroll graduated in May of 2016 from Virginia Wesleyan with a B.A. in political science.
