Women's Lacrosse slips against Ohio Northern

The Muskingum women's lacrosse team slipped in a home contest to Ohio Northern, 22-10.

The Basics

  • Records: Muskingum (7-5 overall, 0-3 OAC), Ohio Northern (7-6 overall, 1-3 OAC)
  • Location: Bullock Health and Wellness Complex - New Concord, Ohio

Inside the Numbers

  • Muskingum scored 10 goals on 14 shots. The Muskies tallied 20 ground balls, 14 caused turnovers, and seven draw controls. 
  • Freshman MJ Rupp led the Muskies with four goals and an assist. Rupp added in one ground ball and one caused turnover.
  • Junior Megan Lang added in two goals and one draw control.
  • Senior Hannah Heyboer, junior Haley Clifton, sophomore Ella Duling, and freshman Amanda Charness each added in a goal.
  • Heyboer added four assists in the game.
  • Charness also dished out one assist.
  • Junior Riley Zwagerman notched an assist and two ground balls in the contest.
  • Senior Zoe Ballard had two caused turnovers.
  • Junior Kennedy Norch had two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
  • Freshman Ash Dean recorded 15 saves in goal for the Muskies. Dean added in five ground balls. 
  • Rylie Kocik led Ohio Northern with seven goals and one assist.
