Hudock named OAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Muskingum junior midfielder Riley Hudock was honored for her outstanding performance by being named Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

Hudock earned the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week award after recording nine goals, one assist, 13 draw controls, 10 ground balls, and six caused turnovers in the Muskies' last two games against Hanover and Anderson.

In the first game against Hanover, Hudock led the charge with five goals and one assist, while also grabbing nine draw controls and eight ground balls. Hudock also helped add to the defensive side of the ball during this game by causing four turnovers, which helped her become the program leader in career-caused turnovers. The Muskies went on to beat Hanover, 12-10.

In the second game against Anderson, Hudock tallied four goals, four draw controls, and two ground balls to propel the Muskies to a 13-12 overtime win. Hudock recorded the overtime-winning golden goal and also made program history by becoming the second Muskie to eclipse the 100 career goals mark.

Hudock has helped the Muskies start their season with a record of 3-1, which is the best start to the season since the 2017 campaign.
