Women’s Lacrosse drops physical battle to Saint Vincent

The Muskingum women's lacrosse team dropped a physical battle to Saint Vincent, 19-13 in its Military Heroes Campaign hosted at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

  • The Bearcats led 5-2 after the opening quarter of play.
  • Although Muskingum drew within three goals of Saint Vincent, the Bearcats tallied 4 unanswered goals to grab an 11-5 lead heading into the break.
  • The fourth quarter saw Muskingum outscore Saint Vincent 5-4, but it wouldn't be enough as the Bearcats secured a 19-13 victory.

Inside the Numbers

  • Muskingum was led by sophomore Riley Hudock, who scored four goals and added 10 draw controls.
  • Sophomore Riley Zwagerman also added four goals and grabbed three draw controls.
  • Freshman Maria Decaminada chipped in two goals and two ground balls.
  • Sophomore Megan Lang and senior Raiyah Johnson added one goal apiece. Lang also dished out three assists.
