Women's lacrosse falls at Franciscan

The Muskingum women's lacrosse team fell at Franciscan on Saturday afternoon, 14-6.

How it Happened

  • The Barons scored nine of the first 10 goals in the opening 30 minutes to grab the momentum en route to taking a 9-1 lead into the break.
  • The Muskies and Barons each tallied five goals in the second half to complete the scoring.

Inside the Numbers

  • The Muskies were led by sophomore Riley Hudock, who scored two goals and added four draw controls and one ground ball.
  • Sophomore Riley Zwagerman, sophomore Megan Lang, sophomore Haley Clifton, and freshman Maria Decaminada each tallied one goal for the Muskies. Lang also added an assist.
  • Senior Sara Woods registered four ground balls and three caused turnovers. 
  • Freshman Kyleigh Dahlgren made seven saves in frame for Muskingum.
  • Grace Deegan led Franciscan with four goals and one assist. 
  • Rose Kane played 60 minutes in goal and made 11 saves for the Barons. 
  • Franciscan ended the outing with a 34-28 advantage in shots and a 17-16 edge in ground balls.
