Women's Lacrosse drops physical battle to Alma

The Muskingum women's lacrosse team dropped a physical battle with Alma on Tuesday evening at North Athletic Turf Field, 20-10.

 Inside the Numbers

  • Sophomore Riley Hudock led the Muskies with five goals, five draw controls, and four ground balls.
  • Sophomore Megan Lang added two goals and two ground balls.
  • Junior Hannah Heyboer notched one goal and finished with a team-high three assists.
  • Sophomore Riley Zwagerman and freshman Maria Decaminada each ended with one goal apiece. Zwagerman collected three ground balls and secured four draw controls, while Decaminada tallied five draw controls and picked up one ground ball.
  • Senior Raiyah Johnson notched a team-best, three caused turnovers, and grabbed four ground balls.
  • Freshman Kyleigh Dahlgren played all 60 minutes in the frame for the Muskies, tallied 11 saves, and secured a team-high nine ground balls.
  • The Muskies trailed the Scots 9-6 at the half, but Alma used a six-goal third quarter to take control of the contest. 
  • Sam Peterson led the Scots offense with five goals, four ground balls, and four draw controls.
