#WinsDay celebrating Muskingum's big win's throughout the 2019-20 year

#WinsDay features the Muskingum women's lacrosse team's dominating victory over Bethany on Wednesday, February 26, at the North Athletic Turf Field. The Muskies erupted with a 45-13 advantage in shots and a 16-4 edge in draw controls en route to the 15-3 victory. This marked the team's first triumph of the 2020 season.

The Muskies came out hot in the first half, scoring six unanswered goals to jump out to an early 7-1 lead at the break. Muskingum stayed hot in the second half and outscored the Bison 8-2 to secure the 15-3 win.

As a team, Muskingum registered 45 shots, 16 draw controls, and 32 ground balls. Sophomores Carly Spitz and Raiyah Johnson directed the Muskie offensive onslaught with a team-best three goals each. Spitz also registered one assist, recorded seven ground balls and tallied five draw controls. Freshman Sara Woods, senior Dani Crisp, sophomore McKenzie Fuller, and sophomore Alyssa Truba chipped in two goals each. 

Freshman goalie Shelby O'Donnell played all 60 minutes in goal for the Muskies and picked up the win with a total of four saves, securing a 57.1 save percentage.
