Muskingum suffers home setback vs. W&J

The Muskingum women's lacrosse team suffered a home setback against Washington & Jefferson on Wednesday evening, 17-7.

Game Notes:

  • Muskingum sophomore Ashley Adams and sophomore Katie Megery led the team with two goals each. Adams also had four draw controls and three ground balls.
  • Sophomore Kaeleigh Norvet, junior Julie Kelley and senior Carissa Myler each scored one goal. Myler also had one assist, four ground balls and caused two turnovers.
  • Sophomore Courtney Cole registered two caused turnovers.
  • Sophomore Kate Shamel made eight saves and grabbed five ground balls.
  • Muskingum scored seven goals on 24 shots.
  • Diana Harvey led Washington& Jefferson with five goals.
  • Ashley Bulger and Monica Ewansik each added four goals for the Presidents.
  • Washington & Jefferson scored 17 goals on 30 shots. The Presidents also had seven assists.
