Four Women's Basketball student-athletes honored with 2023-24 CSC Academic All-District Accolades

The College Sports Communicators Academic All-District 2023-24 Women's Basketball accolades have been released, and junior Caitlyn DeMassimo, junior Halle Morehead, sophomore Claudia Harrington, and sophomore Tori Jones were recognized for their outstanding efforts on the court and in the classroom. 

DeMassimo, a Special Education major, played in every game for the Muskies where she averaged 16.4 points per game. DeMassimo was named to the All-OAC First Team for her performance this season.

Morehead, a Accounting, Marketing, and Business Management major, appeared in 19 games this season where she averaged 4.7 points per game and shot 30 percent from beyond the arc.

Harrington, a Nursing major, played in every game in the season where she averaged 13.4 points per game. Harrington was named All-OAC Honorable Mention for her play on the court this season.

Jones, a Exercise Science and Pre-PT major, appeared in every game for the team and averaged 7.6 points per game while shooting 41.8 percent from the field. 

The 2023 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
