Harrington leads Muskies in hard-fought contest against Capital

Sophomore Claudia Harrington recorded her fourth career double-double as women's basketball fell in overtime to Capital in 68-66 contest.

Inside The Numbers

  • Muskingum shot 26-of-55 (47.3%) from the field, 8-of-23 (34.8%) from beyond the arc, and 6-of-9 (66.7%) from the free-throw line.
  • The Muskies combined for 35 rebounds, 14 assists, 11 steals, and three blocks.
  • Sophomore Claudia Harrington recorded her fourth career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Harrington also added in four assists, two steals, and a block. 
  • Senior Taylor DeMassimo scored 15 points while tallying three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
  • Junior Caitlyn DeMassimo notched 14 points and seven rebounds. C. DeMassimo also had five assists and five steals in the contest.
  • Freshman Mckinzi Linscott scored eight points and grabbed three rebounds.
  • Sophomore Tori Jones tallied four points and three rebounds.
  • Sophomore Courtney Hivick recorded four points and two rebounds.
  • Capital shot 23-of-56 (41.1%) from the field, 7-of-24 (29.2%) from behind the arc, and 15-of-19 (78.9%) from the free-throw line.
  • The Comets as a team recorded 28 rebounds, 11 assists, seven steals, and 17 turnovers.
  • Capital was led by Samaree Perkins who tallied 22 points and 10 rebounds.

  • The Muskies will be back in action for their Senior Day game against the Ohio Northern Polar Bears on Saturday, February 17. The game is set to start at 2:00 p.m. in the Steele Center.
