Women's basketball slipped against the Capital Comets on Wednesday night in 54-51 battle.

• Muskingum shot 19-of-49 (38.8%) from the field, 11-of-30 (36.7%) from beyond the arc, and 2-of-2 (100%) from the free-throw line.
• The Muskies combined for 32 rebounds, 12 assists, five steals, and three blocks.
• Junior Caitlyn DeMassimo and senior Taylor DeMassimo each scored 11 points to lead the Muskies. C. DeMassimo added in nine rebounds, one block, and one steal to her stat line, wile T. DeMassimo threw in three rebounds, and one steal.
• Sophomore Claudia Harrington scored nine points, while recording two rebounds, assists, and steals in the contest.
• Sophomore Lizzy Allen scored nine points for the Muskies on 3-of-5 (60%) shooting from behind the three-point line. Allen grabbed two rebounds, and recorded three assists.
• Sophomore Tori Jones scored eight points, while dishing out three assists, and snagging three rebounds.
• Sophomore Courtney Hivick scored three points, which came from a lone three point attempt. Hivick added two rebounds, and an assist in the game.
• Capital shot 13-of-52 (25.0%) from the field, 6-of-30 (20.0%) from behind the arc, and 22-of-30 (73.3%) from the free-throw line.
• The Comets as a team recorded 39 rebounds, seven assists, 12 steals, one block, and 11 turnovers.
• Capital was led by Laney Murphy who scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
