Muskingum's late push comes up just short against John Carroll

A fourth-quarter push by Muskingum came up just short, as the Muskies fell to John Carroll in a 65-62 road contest.

  • Muskingum shot 24-of-56 (42.9%) from the field, 9-of-20 (45%) from beyond the arc, and 5-of-10 (50%) from the free throw line.
  • The Muskies combined for 22 rebounds, 13 assists, three steals, and 10 turnovers.
  • Muskingum outscored the Blue Streaks 25-19 in the second half and had a three-point shot attempt at the buzzer to tie the game. 
  • Junior Caitlyn DeMassimo led all Muskie scorers with 12 points on 5-of-12 (42%) shooting. C. DeMassimo also added four rebounds and two assists in the contest. 
  • Sophomore Tori Jones went 4-of-7 (57.1%) from the field to record 11 points.
  • Freshman Mckinzi Linscott scored a season-high 10 points on 4-of-6 (66.7%) shooting, which included a perfect 2-of-2 (100%) from behind the arc. Linscott also grabbed four rebounds in the contest.
  • Sophomore Lizzy Allen tallied a season-high 10 points on 4-of-8 (50%) shooting and grabbed two rebounds.
  • Sophomore Claudia Harrington put together seven points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  
  • Senior Taylor DeMassimo contributed seven points, four rebounds, and two assists. 
  • Junior Halle Morehead scored three points and grabbed one rebound. 
  • Sophomore Courtney Hivick scored two points and notched three assists.
  • John Carroll shot 24-of-60 (40%) from the field, 4-of-15 (26.7%) from behind the arc, and 13-of-19 (68.4%) from the free-throw line.
  • John Carroll as a team recorded 40 rebounds, 12 assists, six steals, two blocks, and 10 turnovers
  • The Blue Streaks were led by Kaylie Mckenney and Ava Ryncarz, who each scored 15 points.
