Women's Basketball suffers tough road loss at Marietta

The Muskingum women's basketball team suffered a tough road loss at OAC foe Marietta on Saturday evening, 91-67. 

The Basics

  • Records: Muskingum (1-3, 1-3), Marietta (4-2, 4-2)

  • With the win, Marietta won the season series against Muskingum, 2-0.

  • Seniors Camay Baylock and Olivia Lang led the Muskies in scoring with 14 points each.
  • Junior Tanner Wirth added 10 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Muskies.

  • Marietta capitalized on 23 Muskie turnovers to outscore Muskingum 34-10 on points off turnovers.
  • The Pioneers used a 15-7 edge in offensive rebounds to garner an 18-6 advantage in second-chance points.
