The Muskingum softball team concluded its regular season with a pair of losses at Mount Union on Saturday. The Muskies fell in game one, 8-1, and slipped in the nightcap, 5-1.

OAC Tournament

• Muskingum will enter the OAC Tournament as the four-seed and play at top-seed and host Mount Union on Thursday, May 11. Marietta will be the two-seed and play three-seed Baldwin Wallace. The tournament is a double-elimination format, with the tournament champion receiving an NCAA Tournament automatic bid. 

Game 1

• Muskingum scored one run on eight hits.
• Senior Claire Guilliams belted an RBI double to lead the Muskies. She ended the outing with two hits.
• Senior Haley Hawk also added two hits.

Game 2

• Muskingum scored one run on four hits.
• Senior Kalie Eshelman hit a solo home run to lead the team. 
• Senior Sarah Piteo knocked a double to help aid the effort.

• Muskingum plays at top-seed Mount Union in the OAC Tournament on Thursday, May 11. The game time is scheduled for noon.
