The Muskingum softball team was honored by the National Fastpitch Coaching Association by having 13 student-athletes recognized with Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete accolades. To be recognized, student-athletes must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA for the academic year.

The Muskies ended their 2022 season with a 31-12 overall record and 14-4 mark in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Muskingum was ranked as high as 24th in the NFCA National Poll and advanced to the OAC Tournament as the two-seed.
