The Muskingum softball team honored its five seniors prior to their final Ohio Athletic Conference match-up against Wilmington on Saturday. The Muskies took game one 2-1 and dropped the nightcap 4-2 in eight innings.

- Prior to the game, the Muskingum softball program honored seniors, Cristianna Boggs, Hannah Smith, Katie Osburn, Camryn Woodley, and Haley Hawk.
- Muskingum will be the #2 seed in the upcoming OAC Tournament hosted by Ohio Northern starting on Friday, May 6, thru Sunday, May 8.

How it Happened – Game One
- The Fightin' Quakers held a 1-0 lead after the first inning.
- A clutch two-out RBI double from Katie Osburn knotted the game at one in the fourth inning.
- The Muskies struck their final run of the game in the fifth off a Claire Warschauer RBI double down the left line.
- Wilmington was only able to get one baserunner on throughout the final two innings of play as solid pitching and defensive stops secured a Muskie 2-1 victory.
Inside the Numbers
- Muskingum scored two runs off five hits.
- Senior Hannah Smith fired seven innings of work in the circle while registering five strikeouts. Smith's five strikeouts put her at 101 total strikeouts on the season.
- Senior Katie Osburn and junior Claire Warschauer led the Muskie bats with one hit and an RBI apiece.
- Junior Taylor Gallentine, senior Haley Hawk, and freshman Megan Alspaugh finished with one hit apiece.
- Mollie Moore led the Wilmington bats with a 2-for-3 effort at the plate.
How it Happened – Game Two
- Game two saw Madelyn Thomas and Hannah Hall in a pitching duel both retiring the first nine batters in order.
- In the eighth, the Quakers' used a four-run, five-hit inning to take a 4-0 advantage.
- In the bottom of the eighth, the Muskies cut the deficit in half off Taylor Gallentine and Kalie Eshelman RBI singles.
- Muskingum loaded the bases with the tying run in scoring position but was unable to plate runs.
- Wilmington escaped New Concord with a 4-2 game two extra-inning victory.

- Muskingum finished with two runs on seven hits.
- Sophomore Madelyn Thomas tossed 7.2 innings of work and fired eight strikeouts.
- Junior Taylor Gallentine went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
- Sophomore Kalie Eshelman finished with one hit and an RBI.
- Junior Claire Warschauer, senior Haley Hawk, senior Katie Osburn, and senior Cristianna Boggs all finished with one hit apiece.
- McKenna Archey led Wilmington going 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
