Muskingum sophomore Melissa Maiorano was named Third Team All-Central Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

Maiorano ended the season batting .351 with a team-best 32 runs and 12 doubles. She was second on the team with 47 hits and third on the squad with four home runs. Maiorano ended the campaign with 23 RBIs and a team-high 12 walks.

Her outstanding play was recognized earlier when she received First Team All-Ohio Atheltic Conference accolades.
