The Muskingum softball team dropped an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader at Ohio Northern on Saturday. The Polar Bears won the opener in eight innings 2-1 and won game two, 2-0.

Game 1
- Ohio Northern scored the game-winning run in the eighth inning on a Muskingum error with the bases loaded.
- The Polar Bears plated the first run of the game in the second inning of Leanna Henry's RBI single.
- The Muskies tied the game in the third inning on freshman Krissy Hughes' RBI single.
- Muskingum ended the outing with one run on five hits. The Muskies stranded seven runners on base.
- Senior Kelly Martin led the Muskies at the plate with two hits, including a double.
- Freshman Rachel Eberling (5-7) took the loss after allowing two runs (one earned) in 7.1 innings of work.
- Kaitlin Surdej (8-7) notched the win after tossing eight innings and allowing one unearned run.
Game 2
- Ohio Northern scored the only two runs of the game in the bottom of the first. The Polar Bears plated two runs on four hits and Teea Topp's two-run single.
- Kirsten Lightel fired a complete game two-hitter to earn her ninth win of the season.
- Sarah Browning slipped to 3-4 overall after allowing two runs on six hits.
- Sophomore Melissa Maiorano and Browning each had a hit for the Muskies.
