The Muskingum softball team hammered Wilmington in Ohio Athletic Conference play on Wednesday afternoon. The Muskies won the opener in five innings 14-0 and took the night cap in five innings, 14-2. The sweep moved Muskingum to 32-0 all-time against Wilmington.

Game 1
- Muskingum senior Sarah Browning fired a complete game one-hitter with two strikeouts. The dominating performance moved Browning to 3-3 on the year. Browning also went 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored.
- Sophomore Melissa Maiorano and senior Kelly Martin each registered four RBIs. Maiorano went 3-of-4 with two doubles and three runs scored. Martin went 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored.
- Senior Fallon Gawry and junior Jessica Matthews each had two RBIs. Gawry also belted a triple.
- Muskingum scored a season-high tying 14 runs on a season-high 16 hits.
- The Muskies scored four in the fourth and 10 in the fifth to complete the scoring.
- Courtney Mackey logged Wilmington's lone hit in the fourth inning.
Game 2
- Sophomore Amy Clark led the Muskies going 3-for-3 with five RBIs.
- Senior Amber Bova went 2-for-3 with four RBIs, including hitting a three-run home run.
- Gawry smashed a two-run triple and Browning added a two-run single.
- Freshman Rachel Eberling (4-6) tossed four innings and allowed one run on two hits.
- Freshman Krissy Hughes went 3-for-3 with two runs, and Martin went 2-for-3 with two runs.
- Muskingum scored 14 runs on 14 hits.
- The Muskies scored one run in the first and fourth innings and erupted for 12 runs in the fifth.
- Mackey and Megan Warren each had an RBI for the Quakers.
