Muskingum Finishes Second at the Daniel Mullen Memorial Invitational

The Muskingum men's cross team finished second at the Daniel Mullen Memorial Invitational on Saturday at Moorehead Farm. Muskingum was led by senior Wade Speeth with a time of 27:06.5 to finish 2nd.

Notable

  • The invitational is in honor of Daniel Mullen, who was a 2015 graduate of Muskingum, where he was a member of the cross country and track & field teams. He helped lead the men's cross country squad to a 10th-place finish at the 2012 NCAA Regional Meet, which tied for the best finish in school history. 

How it Happened

  • Senior Wade Speeth earned a second-place finish with a time of 27:06.5.
  • Junior Chance Carpenter registered a time of 30:09.0 to finish 5th.
  • Freshman Blake Miller recorded a 6th finish with a time of 30:24.6.
  • Freshman Sean Murdock recorded a time of 31:56.8 to finish 10th.
  • Sophomore Korey Kakascik finished with a time of 32:51.0 to finish 11th.
