The Muskingum men's outdoor track & field team competed at multiple events this weekend. Headlining the events was senior Wade Speeth who set the school record in the 5000-meter run with a time of 15:02.91. The weekend featured events at the Jesse Owens Classic, Otterbein Invitational, and Kenyon Invitational.
Jesse Owens Classic
On The Track
- Junior Colton Whyte finished 12th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 49.42.
In The Field
- Freshman Daven Gibson earned a sixth place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.98 meters.
- Senior Tristan Makowski placed 22nd in the shot put with a mark of 14.42 meters.
Otterbein Invitational
On The Track
- Senior Wade Speeth finished second with a time of 15:02.91 as he set the school record in the 5000-meter run. Speeth broke the previous record of 15:11.70 that was set by Dave Blumel in the 1978 campaign.

- The Muskies scored 61.5 points as a team.
On The Track
- Freshman Cooper Bell earned a first place finish in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.65.
- Sophomore Ryan Irwin logged a fifth place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.44.
- Junior Doudley Jaboin placed fifth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 53.23.
- Freshman Kohen Cox finished in sixth place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 53.35.
- Junior Cameron Scott placed eighth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 53.88.
In The Field
- Freshman Thomas Christman earned a second place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.33 meters. Christman also finished in second in the high jump with a mark of 1.85 meters.
- Bell placed third in the high jump with a mark of 1.80 meters.
- Freshman William Jackson finished fourth in the javelin throw with a mark of 40.31 meters. Jackson also logged a fifth place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.12 meters.
- Irwin placed fifth in the javelin throw with a mark of 38.70 meters.
- Sophomore Zachary Amato placed seventh in the javelin throw with a mark of 36.10 meters.
- Freshman Gabe Lavender finished in seventh with a mark of 3.20 meters in the pole vault.
