Men's Outdoor Track & Field travels to Wooster Invitational

The Muskingum men's track & field team traveled to the Wooster Invitational, where the Muskies came away with 75 points and a sixth place finish as a team.

The Basics

  • Location: Wooster Invitational - Carl Munson Track
  • The Muskies placed sixth with a team score of 75 points.

On the Track

  • Junior Colton Whyte earned a second place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of 48.73.
  • Sophomore Korey Kakascik notched a third place finish in the 3000 meter steeple with a time of 12:22.40.
  • Sophomore Ryan Irwin finished fourth in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.23.
  • Senior Wade Speeth placed seventh in the 5000 meter run with a 15:30.27.

On the Field

  • Senior Tristan Makowski won the shot put with a mark of 15.80 meters. Makowski also finished sixth in the hammer throw with a mark of 45.73 meters.
  • Freshman William Jackson won the javelin throw with a mark of 40.94 meters. Jackson added in a sixth place finish in the discus with a mark of 37.92 meters.
  • Freshman Daven Gibson earned a second place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.97 meters.
  • Irwin logged a fourth place finish in the javelin throw with a mark of 37.94 meters.
  • Sophomore Anthony Kocanjer placed fifth in the javelin with a throw of 37.40 meters.
  • Freshman Thomas Christman finished fifth in the long jump with a mark of 6.28 meters. Christman also placed eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.84 meters.
  • Sophomore Zachary Amato placed sixth in the javelin throw with a mark of 36.48 meters.
  • Sophomore Michael Javorsky finished in eighth place with a mark of 33.96 meters.
