Men's Outdoor Track & Field place third at Don Frail Invitational

The Muskingum men's track & field team competed in the Don Frail Invitational at Marietta College. The Muskies placed third with a team score of 114 total points.

On the Track

  • Junior Colton Whyte won the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.13.
  • Whyte also proceeded to win the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.27.
  • The 4x400 meter relay team of junior Doudley Jaboin, freshman James Jackson, junior Cameron Scott, and Whyte finished first with a time of 3:37.39.
  • Jackson finished in second after a time of 2:03.03 in the 800 meter run.
  • Freshman Cooper Bell placed second in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.77.
  • Freshman Kohen Cox earned a second place finish in the 400 meter dash following a time of 53.26.
  • Scott placed fifth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 53.97.
  • Junior Chance Carpenter snagged a fifth place finish in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:29.78.
  • Carpenter also logged a fifth place finish in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:18.94.

On the Field

  • Freshman Thomas Christman placed second in the high jump with a mark of 1.85 meters.
  • Bell also finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.80 meters.
  • Sophomore Lane Smith nabbed a fourth place finish in the shot put with a mark of 11.89 meters.
  • Sophomore Anthony Kocanjer logged a fourth place finish in the javelin throw with a mark of 40.87 meters.
  • Christman also placed fifth in the long jump competition with a mark of 5.98 meters.
  • Freshman Gabe Lavender finished fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.27 meters.
