Men's Track & Field competes at Washington & Lee Invitational

The Muskingum men's track & field team competed at the Washington & Lee Invitational. The event was the first outdoor meet for the track & field team and was a non-scoring event.

The Basics

On the Track

  • Junior Colton Whyte won the 400 meter dash with a time of 49.24.
  • Sophomore Ryan Irwin landed a second place finish in the 110 meter hurdle after a time of 15.36.
  • Whyte finished third in the 200-meter run with a time of 22.46.
  • The 4x400 meter relay team of Junior Doudley Jaboin, freshman James Jackson, Whyte, and junior Cameron Scott finished in third.

On the Field

  • Freshman Daven Gibson won the High Jump with a mark of 1.93 meters.
  • Senior Tristan Makowski hit a mark of 14.56 meters in the shot put to finish second.
  • Freshman Thomas Christman finished fifth in the High Jump with a 1.83 meter mark.
  • Sophomore Trey Gastrich finished in sixth in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.47 meters.
  • Sophomore Noah Mitchell logged a sixth place finish in the Triple Jump with a 12.64 meter mark.
