The Muskingum men's track and field team competed at the Walsh tune-up on Thursday.
The Basics
- Location: Larry Staudt Field – North Canton, Ohio
On the Track
- The 4x100-meter relay team of freshman Ryan Irwin, sophomore Colton Whyte, freshman Trey Gastrich, and freshman Noah Mitchell tallied a time 43.00 to secure a second-place finish.
- In the 3000-meter steeplechase, sophomore Max McAdams finished fourth with a time of 10:43.59, while freshman Korey Kakascik placed fifth with a time of 11:44.82.
- Whyte tallied a time of 22.13 to finish fourth in the 200-meter dash.
- Junior Hasson Williams tallied a time of 16.30 to finish seventh in the 110-meter hurdles, while senior Seth Roseberry finished eighth with a mark of 16.70.
In the Field
- In the javelin throw, freshman Zachary Amato tallied a mark of 37.87 meters to finish seventh, followed by freshman Anthony Kocanjer placing eighth (37.65 meters), and senior Preston Hershberger (37.62 meters) taking ninth.
