Muskingum men's intdoor track & field freshman Daven Gibson was named All-Region and qualified for the high jump at the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships hosted at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. 

Gibson will enter the high jump championship field tied for 12th in the nation. He qualified for the championships after tying the Muskingum record with a mark of 6-8.75 at Muskie Meet #2 at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex.

This season, Gibson has finished first in the high jump in five meets. The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction.

The final for the high jump is on Saturday, March 9, beginning at 3:00 p.m. The top eight finishers in the event finals will earn All-American honors.
