Men's T&F finishes fifth at Bob Shannon Invitational

 Men's Track and Field finished fifth at the Bob Shannon Invitational behind strong performances from freshman Daven Gibson, sophomore Trey Gastrich, and sophomore Ryan Irwin.

The Basics

  • Location: Granville, Ohio - Mitchell Fieldhouse
  • Muskingum scored 54 points as a team to finish fifth out of nine teams. 

On the Track

In the Field

  • Freshman Daven Gibson hit a mark of 2.00 meters in the High Jump to come away with a win in the event. 
  • Sophomore Trey Gastrich secured a second place finish in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.43 meters.
  • Freshman Thomas Christman earned a fourth place finish in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.04 meters. Christman also finished seventh in the High Jump with a 1.80 meter mark.
  • Freshman William Jackson recorded a throw of 13.87 meters in the Weight Throw to finish fifth. 
  • Sophomore Noah Mitchell finished in seventh place in the Triple Jump with a mark of 11.51 meters.
