The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum freshman Daven Gibson the OAC Indoor Track & Field Male Athlete of the Week in field events.

Gibson helped lead the Muskies to a first-place finish at the Muskie Meet #2 with a record-tying high jump mark of 6-8.75. His mark currently ranks third in Division III and tied the school record held by Trevon Sawyer in 2013. This marks Gibson's first OAC Indoor Track & Field Male Athlete of the Week award. 

The Indoor Track & Field team will be back in action on Saturday, January 27, when they will compete at the Muskie Meet #3 in the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex at 11:00 a.m.
