Men’s Indoor Track and Field Finishes fifth at Muskingum Meet #4

The Muskingum Men's Indoor Track and Field Team finished fifth out of an eight-team field at Muskingum Meet #4 on Friday night inside the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex.

The Basics

  • Location: Bullock Health & Wellness Complex – New Concord, Ohio
  • Muskingum finished fifth out of an eight-team field.
  • The Muskies finished with a total of 64 points.
  • Wilmington claimed the team title with an overall score of 124.5.

 On the Track 

  • Junior Hasson Williams finished second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.91, while senior Seth Roseberry finished seventh with a time of 9.59.
  • In the 400-meter, sophomore Cameron Scott tallied a time of 55.18 to finish third, while sophomore Doudley Jaboin placed seventh with a time of 55.89.
  • Sophomore Max McAdams ran a time of 2:03.28 to notch a third-place finish in the 800-meter.
  • Freshman Keaton Naufzinger notched a time of 24.38 in the 200-meter to finish sixth, while sophomore Bradley Styranec placed eighth with a time of 24.90.

On the Field

  • Freshman Noah Mitchell secured a first-place finish in the Triple Jump with a mark of 13.25 meters.
  • Senior Tristan Makowski won the Shot Put with a distance of 14.0 meters, while senior Daniel Odetter-Spillner tallied an eighth-place finish with a toss of 12.99 meters.
  • In the High Jump, freshman Cedrice Bennett leaped a height of 1.75 meters to finish third, while freshman Anthony Kocanjer tallied a fourth-place finish with a mark of 1.70 meters.

 Up Next

  • Muskingum is set to compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on February 24-25. The event will be hosted by Baldwin Wallace in Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse.
