Montgomery leads men's tennis

Junior Gene Montgomery won his sixth singles match to lead the Muskingum men's tennis team against Heidelberg on Friday afternoon. 

Montgomery controlled his sixth singles match against Kyle Bloon en route to notching an impressive 6-1, 6-0 win.

The Muskies' third doubles junior tandem of Kenta Suzuki and Andrew Alexander nearly added to the Muskingum victory total before falling late against Kyle Simpson and Andreas Isea, 8-6.

Overall, the Student Princes won the match, 8-1.

Muskingum next hosts Ohio Athletic Conference foe Otterbein on Saturday, April 18. Match time is slated for 1:00 p.m.
