- Transylvania's Riley Calhoon opened the scoring in the eighth minute to give the Pioneers a 1-0.
- Calhoon added his second tally in the 21st minute to help Transylvania take a 2-0 into the break.
- Calhoon recorded a hat trick with his third strike in the 55th minute.
- Freshman Johnny Aisthorpe and junior Justin Smith each notched a shot for the Muskies.
- Junior keeper Daniel Jennings played the opening 70 minutes in frame and made seven saves and allowed three goals.
- Drew Grisham and Chandler Gaunce each played 45 minutes in goal to record the combined shutout.
