The Muskingum men's soccer team fell at 25th-ranked Ohio Northern on Saturday evening, 4-0.
The Matchup
- Records: Muskingum (4-12 overall, 1-6 OAC), Ohio Northern (14-4 overall, 6-1 OAC)
- Location: Ada, Ohio - at Kerscher Stadium
The Game
- Ohio Northern scored goals in the seventh and 22nd minutes to take a 2-0 lead into the break. The Polar Bears added two second-half goals in the 70th and 74th minutes to complete the scoring.
- Michael Sowers led ONU with five shots and two goals.
- Muskingum freshman Alex Furst led the Muskies with a pair of shots.
- Senior Brett Hanna, junior Christopher Heine, junior Antonio Meehan and freshman Chase Michael Hilliard all had one shot.
- Ohio Northern ended the contest with a 24-6 edge in shots and 11-0 advantage in corner kicks.
In the Net
- Freshman Daniel Jennings played the entire game in frame and made six saves and allowed two goals.
- Dean McNeil played in frame for the Polar Bears to garner the shutout.
