2nd-half surge propels Muskies past Bethany

Muskingum freshman Trent Newby scored two second-half goals to help lead the Muskies past Bethany on Tuesday night in McConagha Stadium, 2-1.

Newby's first tally of the night tied the game in the 51st minute. The strike came on a 1v1 to goal after a long ball from senior Austin Mills. Newby's shot to the far post beat Bethany keeper Callum Appleby. The assist was the first of the season for Mills.
