Buzzetta and Hess honored on Senior Night

The Muskingum men's soccer team lost 1-0 against Capital on Senior Night in McConagha Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The Muskies now stand at 5-12-1 overall and 0-7-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Muskingum will conclude its season at nationally-ranked Ohio Northern on Friday, November 1. Game time is slated for 4:00 p.m.

Prior to the start of the game, Muskingum honored seniors Vinny Buzzetta and Will Hess. Buzzetta started as a defender and Hess between the pipes.

Hess played all 90 minutes in frame and made several outstanding saves to keep the Muskies within striking distance. He ended the outing with 10 stops.

Capital (8-6-3, 5-3) netted the game-winning tally on a header by Hunter Booth in the 65th minute. The score was off of Jacob Pulliam's corner kick.

Muskingum was led by freshman Andreas Pfefferkorn who logged three shots. Sophomore Brett Hanna added two shots and junior John Barr had one shot to pace the Muskie attack.
