The Muskingum University men's soccer team slipped on Saturday at Washington & Jefferson College, 1-0.

With the loss, Muskingum ends its non-conference action with a 5-5 record. The Muskies next open Ohio Athletic Conference play at home against Wilmington College on Saturday, October 5. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. and will feature Live Stats on the Muskie Sports Network.

Dylan Small scored the game-winning goal in the 67th minute. The Presidents ended the outing with a 16-3 advantage in shots and 6-2 edge in corner kicks.

The Muskingum freshmen trio of Andreas Pfefferkorn, Kyle Baker and Will Debolt each registered a shot for the Muskies.

Muskie freshman Mathias Buchner played all 90 minutes in goal and made 10 saves.

Jon Best started the game in goal for Washington & Jefferson and made one save.
