Men’s Lacrosse battles John Carroll in OAC home opener

The Muskingum men's lacrosse team battled John Carroll in their Ohio Athletic Conference home opener on Friday afternoon. The Muskies fell to the Blue Streaks, 14-8.

How it Happened

  • At the end of the first quarter the Blue Streaks led the Muskies 6-2. In the second quarter, John Carroll would extend their lead to five. After the break, in the third quarter the Muskies would strike back and score three goals in one minute and 41 seconds to make the score 10-7 John Carroll. The Blue Streaks would win the game 14-8.

  • The Muskies recorded eight goals, five assists, 27 shots, 28 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers, and 16 saves.
  • Freshman Evan Cosgrove led the Muskies with two goals and two assists, while grabbing three ground balls.
