Men's Lacrosse dismantles Oglethorpe

The Muskingum men's lacrosse team dismantled Oglethorpe with a dominating offensive performance in a 14-9 game. Senior Spencer Zecchini led the Muskies with nine total points.

Inside the Numbers

  • Muskingum finished the game with 39 shots, 49 ground balls, and 21 face-off wins.
  • Zecchini fired off nine total points in the form of six goals and three assists. Zecchini also grabbed three ground balls and caused one turnover. 
  • Junior Drew Davis scored twice and added in two assists to help fuel the Muskie efforts. Davis also snagged a ground ball.
  • Senior Grant Webster scored twice and took four ground balls in the contest.
  • Freshman Evan Cosgrove scored one goal and had one assist, while picking up two ground balls.
  • Sophomore Josh Nowak scored a goal and added in one ground ball.
  • Junior Jackson D'Amico scored once and snatched two ground balls.
  • Sophomore Jacob McDermott scored a goal and and tallied four ground balls.
  • Junior Drew Schneider had an assist and 11 ground balls. Schneider added a 21-26 faceoff record.
  • Senior Trevor Connolly tallied 11 eleven saves in goal for the Muskies.
  • Oglethorpe logged 34 shots, 39 ground balls, and five face-off wins in the game.
  • Oglethorpe was led by Jazz Washington and Israel Pend.-Moore who each had two goals and one assist.
