Men’s Lacrosse dominates Franciscan for landmark win

The Muskingum men's lacrosse team dominated Franciscan 18-3 to tie the program record for wins in a single season.

Notables

  • With the victory, the Muskies tie the record for most wins in a season in program history. Muskingum most recently recorded five wins in a season during the 2019 campaign. 

How it Happened

  • After falling behind 1-0 early on in the game, Muskingum erupted for 15 straight goals to take a commanding 15-1 lead into halftime.
  • The Muskies scored eight goals in the first quarter, and seven in the second quarter during their run.
  • The third quarter saw Muskingum outscore the Barons 3-2 and carry an 18-3 lead into the fourth.
  • Neither team would find the back of the net in the final quarter as Muskingum cruised to their 18-3 lead.
