The Muskingum men's lacrosse team fell against Ohio Athletic Conference foe Otterbein on Wednesday night, 19-4.
Otterbein overcame an early 2-1 deficit in the first quarter by scoring 10 unanswered goals over the next two-plus quarters to take an 11-2 lead. The Cardinals ended the outing with a 60-26 advantage in shots.
Tucker Haas led the Muskies with two goals, while Ian McGougan and Andrew Ward each added one. Zach Kern logged one assist. Muskingum recorded 20 ground balls and registered 16 clears.
Phillip Dappen played all 60 minutes in frame and made 16 saves.
The Cardinals were led by Connor Dziewit who scored five goals and had one assist. Chandler Swartz and Mike Brendle each had two goals.
Connor Hinson played 45 minutes in goal and made nine saves.
Muskingum next hosts Ohio Northern on Friday, April 7. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
