The Muskingum men's lacrosse team slipped in its Ohio Athletic Conference opener at Mount Union on Wednesday evening, 14-4.

- Muskingum sophomore Ian McGougan led the Muskies with a pair of goals.
- Senior David DeGood and sophomore Tucker Haas each added a goal. DeGood also registered one assist and Hass had a career-high 10 ground balls.
- Freshman Ryan Stacey logged one assist.
- Sophomore Phillip Dappen played all 60 minutes in frame and made 13 saves.
- The Muskies ended the outing with four goals on 25 shots.
- Josh Stephens led Mount Union with three goals and one assist.
- The Purple Raiders scored 14 goals on 40 shots.
- Collin Peters earned the win in goal after going 50 minutes and making nine saves.
- After the opening period, Mount Union led 3-2.
