The Muskingum men's lacrosse team, under the direction of Head Coach Nick Gallagher, will begin its inaugural 2015 season of play on Wednesday, February 25 at Bethany.

The Muskies will face the Bison at 5:00 p.m. in their first-ever game. Muskingum's first home game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4 against Franciscan at 7:30 p.m. in McConagha Stadium. Muskingum will open Ohio Athletic Conference play on Wednesday, April 8 at Otterbein at 7:00 p.m.

"Our expectation is to be competitive in the conference in our first year. We want to go out and show teams that we can play," said Head Coach Nick Gallagher. "We're really excited and have a good group of guys. They've been working hard for a year and a half and it's going to be our hard work that wins games."

Muskingum's schedule features 14 contests. The Muskies will play seven home and seven away games during their first year of competition.

During the 2013-14 year, Muskingum fielded a team that competed at the junior varsity level, in preparation for the NCAA Division III competition beginning in 2015.  The team will play their home games on the ProGrass Turf on Sherman Field in McConagha Stadium.
