Muskingum battled Marietta for 40 minutes before falling just short of the Pioneers of Wednesday night, 88-82.

• The Muskies shot 34-of-68 (50.8%) from the field, 12-of-25 (48.0%) from the three-point range and 2-of-9 (22.2%) from the free throw line.
• The Muskies recorded 31 rebounds, 18 assists, 21 points off turnovers, 38 points in the paint, and the bench scored 45 points.
• Sophomore Kaelan Pulliam led the team with 16 points, shooting 6-of-8 (75%) from the field and 4-of-5 (80%) from beyond the arc. Pulliam also recorded four rebounds and two blocks.
• Sophomore Duane Davis helped fuel the Muskingum offense with 15 points, going 6-of-12 (50%) from the field. Davis added five rebounds, three assists, and a steal.
• Freshman Owen Emig went 6-of-11 (54.5%) from the field and 2-of-6 (33.3%) beyond the arc. Emig finished with 14 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
• Freshman Reed Coconis tied his season high with 11 points on 5-of-6 (83.3%) from the field. Coconis added three assists and two rebounds.
• Senior Luken Hill scored nine points on 4-of-8 (50%) from the field and 1-of-1 (100%) from the three-point line. Hill also registered seven rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
• Junior Ethan Taylor aided the offense with six points while having two assists, a rebound, and a block.
• Sophomore Logan Stotzer totaled five points, three rebounds, and one assist.
• Freshman Nathan Walker scored four points, had two assists, and one rebound.
• The Pioneers shot 34-of-68 (50%) from the field, 15-of-30 (50%) from three-point range, and 5-of-12 (41.7%) from the free throw line.
• Sahmi Willoughby led the Pioneers with a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
• De'Ovion Price scored 13 points for Marietta. Price also recorded four rebounds and four assists.
