Despite a closely contested first half, the Muskingum men's basketball team came up short against #9 John Carroll.

Inside the Numbers
- The Muskies were led by senior Noah Begue who tallied a career-high 20 points. Begue knocked down six three-pointers, which ties a career-high, and he also pulled down three rebounds.
- Freshman Kaelan Pulliam finished with 12 points and two assists for the Muskies, while junior Luken Hill added nine points, five rebounds, and three assists.
- Freshman Logan Stotzer notched four points, three rebounds, and two assists; while freshman Duane Davis chipped in four points and three steals.
- John Carroll was led by Luke Frazier with 20 points and three rebounds, while Chase Toppin added 16 points and six rebounds for the Blue Streaks.
- As a team, the Muskies shot 24-for-56 (42.9%) from the field, while the Blue Streaks went 33-for-60 (55%) from the floor.
- Muskingum finished 8-for-24 (33.3%) from deep, while John Carroll shot 8-for-21 (38.1%) from three-point range.
- John Carroll outrebounded Muskingum 39-24, and the Blue Streaks also finished with a 15-14 edge in assists as well.
- Muskingum coughed up 15 turnovers which led to 29 points for John Carroll, while the Blue Streaks committed 10 turnovers which converted to 10 points for the Muskies.
- John Carroll finished with a dominating 46-28 edge in points in the paint, and the Blue Streaks also saw their bench contribute 42 points while Muskingum's bench finished with 18 points.

The men's contest is slated for 5:00 p.m., and the women's contest will begin immediately after at 7:00 p.m. The doubleheader also marks Muskingum's Faculty/Staff Appreciation Game for both teams.
